The mattifying stick is suitable for all skin types. It is particularly well-suited for combination, oily, and acne-prone skin.

5% Microporous Silica:
Thanks to its absorbent properties, microporous silica helps reduce excess sebum and provides the skin with an immediate mattifying effect. Its small-diameter porous structure allows it to capture lipids on the surface of the epidermis without drying it out, leaving a soft, even finish. Gentle on the skin's delicate balance, microporous silica has a mattifying and blurring effect on pores without being occlusive, even on combination to oily skin.
Bakuchiol:
Extracted from the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia, bakuchiol is an active ingredient known for its mattifying effect. In vitro studies have shown that it can reduce the activity of alpha-reductase, a key enzyme in sebum synthesis, suggesting it can help limit shine. Additionally, its antioxidant properties help protect sebum from lipid peroxidation, a phenomenon that can lead to blackheads. Bakuchiol also targets Cutibacterium acnes, a bacterium that resides in sebum and promotes blemishes, while limiting the production of pro-inflammatory molecules.
